HELLO AUGUST 2021

I adore August! I love work & thrive on my career but having the month of August off is always a godsend to me. A month to re charge, for pure family time, doing great things & going to lovely places. For everyone, the past two years have been hard & being a business owner has not been easy to say the least.

FABULOUS THINGS THAT HAPPENED LAST MONTH

1. 2 separate evenings at Titanic Spa

2. A day at Silverstone watching The Grand Prix

3. A few days away with our family in a stunning converted barn in North Yorkshire & the weather was glorious

4. Lunch at Boujee Bar in Manchester with Isabelle

5. A lovely visit to Salts Mill in Saltaire Nr Bradford with friends we haven’t seen for a long time

LIFESTYLE, LEISURE, PLACES & HOME

Silverstone Grand Prix

My hubby Tony is a big Grand Prix fanatic so as one of his 50th gifts I bought tickets for him & me to go to the Grand Prix. Unfortunately,  due to also going away to North Yorkshire for a few days the same weekend, we could only go on the Friday which was practice & qualifying day but we had a fabulous time. First of all the weather was absolutely stunning which always makes everything even more fabulous & it really was a great day. It’s like a huge festival and the atmosphere was electric. It was busy but not over crowded and we were lucky enough to have great seats opposite the Pit Straight. There’s great food & drink stations galore and as there were so many none of the queue’s were long at all. All in all, even if you’re not really a Grand Prix fan like me, it’s a great day out and great to say you’ve experienced it. We’ll definitely go back but I’d love to go on the finals day next time. General admission tickets are reasonable for the type of event it is at £89 each and the food & drinks. Like any of these kind of events isn’t cheap but definitely not ridiculously overpriced.

I would definitely recommend going for the experience.

BEAUTY, HEALTH & STYLE

Manli LED Face Massager

I bought this machine a few weeks ago & I absolutely love it. Bought for £46.99 on Amazon this machine tightens the skin with LED therapy & is used for Anti-Aging and rejuvenation. I’m already feeling & seeing the difference in my skin and the different settings & levels of intensity are fabulous. I like to use it 3 times a week, after fully cleansing & toning my face I apply my moisturiser and use the anti-aging setting which takes around 10 minutes. Definitely worth the price for me.

RESTAURANT OF THE MONTH

Boujee Bar Manchester

I’ve been desperate to take Isabelle here for a while, it’s very pink, very girly & very much up our street!!! Owned by Real Housewife of Cheshire star Lystra, this Manchester bar is fun, frivolous & (as Isabelle says) very instagrammable!!!!
