Being grateful for what you have is one of the best things you can do to lead a positive happy life. If you’re always worried & bothered by what other people have, you’ll never be truly happy.

This is something I’ve struggled with a little in the past although I was good at covering my fears. Now I’m in my mid 40’s my confidence has grown & I’ve trained myself to put myself out of my comfort zone to help with this over the years.
GET MARRIED, START A FAMILY, HAVE KIDS OR WHATEVER IS
RIGHT FOR YOU
For me, getting married and having children was something I always dreamed of and it is right for me but, everyone should live their truth and do what’s right for them whether that’s with a partner, having a family, staying single etc.
DO THINGS THAT TAKE YOU OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE
Sometimes doing something that takes you out of your comfort zone helps you grow as a person & grow in confidence. Remember, you only live once!!!!!
CREATE A BUCKET LIST
I must admit I’m a huge list person and I adore updating & ticking off things from my ever-growing Bucket List!!
CLEAR YOUR DEBTS
Do this as quickly as possible for you and you’ll feel the weight lift off your shoulders
LOOK FOR NEW WAYS TO SAVE MORE MONEY
Without compromising on things that give you simple pleasure, sometimes things such as your daily Costa or overpaying on subscriptions etc can add up & when you cut a few small things out each month it starts to make a difference.
BE KIND TO OTHERS
This should be obvious yet there’s still so much hate in the world. Always be kind, simple!
TAKE A RISK
Let’s face it, we only live once, and you don’t want to regret not taking a risk now and then & adding some excitement in your life
RECOGNIZE THAT YOU MAY FAIL BUT YOU WILL ALWAYS GET BACK
UP AGAIN & LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES

EXERCISE MORE & STAY HEALTHY
You don’t have to run a marathon but some exercise to raise your heart rate 3 times a week and a healthy diet is important in everyone’s life.

Sometimes you need to say yes & push yourself out of your comfort zone, remember, great things never come from comfort zones.

BUT, sometimes you can spread yourself too thinly and make yourself unhappy if you don’t say no now & again.

It costs nothings and feels amazing!

Most of the time they’re more bothered about themselves than what you’re up to anyway plus, what other people think of you is none of your business!!!!

There’s just nothing better & I’ve learnt more from travelling than anything else in my life and travelling the world is definitely one of the best decisions I made.

Most people only show their best, most shiny life on social media but although deep down we know this, sometimes if you’re having a bad day it can seem too much to look at other people’s successes and amazing lives. If you’re having one of those days it’s much healthier to switch off social media or better still, block or remove people who are having a negative effect on you mentally.
BE PROUD OF YOUR SUCCESSES
Sometimes you have to be your own cheerleader! If you’ve done something good you deserve to be proud!!
LEARN SOMETHING NEW
You’re never too old to learn new things and expand your mind.
Why put off until tomorrow what you can do today because procrastination is the thief of time!!!

Don’t get me wrong, I believe in standing up for your rights & if you have been treat or served badly, sometimes some things do warrant a complaint. But then there are some people who seem to LOVE complaining and find something to complain about in every situation. But are these people happy in life? I highly doubt it and all you do is create a negative toxic energy that people don’t want to be around. I once had an (ex) acquaintance who complained bitterly every single time I went anywhere with her. she always wanted to get something free out of it be it a free meal or free night in a hotel and she thought she was being clever but, in the end, myself and many other of her ‘’ex’’ friends vowed never to go out with her again as it was embarrassing and just ruined every occasion.
DON’T HOLD GRUDGES
Holding a grudge only creates bitterness.
HOLD ONTO YOUR BELIEFS & VALUES
If you truly believe deeply in something, then hold onto that belief or those values & trust in yourself.
MAKE TIME TO DO THINGS YOU ENJOY WITH PEOPLE YOU WANT TO BE AROUND
Work & self improvement are important but it’s always important to do things you enjoy doing & spend time with those that make you happy.
